About this rib
Reluctantly selling my clean and unmarked Osprey Viper 6m RIB (I need a longer boat for my RYA Coastal/Offshore Skipper qualification).
She is currently on my berth at Conwy Marina, sat on a 6m x 2m Tetradock.
I’ve owned this ex-dive boat for 4 years. She is a 1997 boat powered by a 1998 Mariner 125hp 2 stroke outboard. Her engine has been professionally serviced every year and her anodes replaced. She has never let me down. This model has a 125 litre fuel tank so provides excellent range. Has stainless steel A-Frame, and I’ve left the dive cylinder rack in place but this can easily be removed to accommodate additional seating. Has a 15lb coastal quick release (CQR) anchor with 5m chain and 25m warp.
As you see from the photos, she presents very well for her age. She has her original white gel coat hull, and original orange Hypalon tubes (no scuffs or leaks). Lightly used and very well cared for. Recorded approx. 50 hours and 250 Nm since 2021.
In my ownership she has been extensively improved and upgraded including new hydraulic steering, throttle cables, fuel lines, navigation lights, gauges, core electric cables and windscreen
Navigation wise I’ve also installed a new Garmin Echomap UHD 6cv chart plotter with GT24UHD-TM CHIRP transducer, and new Ritchie Explorer compass. Also replaced her fixed VHF radio with new Icom M330GE VHF/DCS radio with GPS and antenna. She is registered on the SSR and has a current ship radio licence.
She has a new custom-made heavy duty cover to protect her from the North Wales elements.
Asking £9,500 for the RIB
(open to offers for the RIB and Tetradock as a package)

Osprey RIBs have an excellent reputation for their durability and well balanced gliding performance especially in coastal and offshore water conditions.
The deep V-hull shape combined with professional grade materials including Hypalon Neoprene tubes and double processed handmade polyester body guarantees the durability you require under any circumstances.
The Viper departed from the Ospreys standard fibreglass bow form, incorporating traditional compartmented tubes with 5 chambers from Bow to Transom. It is built using their very successful Falcon Class North Sea Wide Beam Hull, renowned for its incredible load carrying capacity and fast, stable ride. The Osprey is built to satisfy the highest marine specifications. Osprey Vipers set standards few can follow.
This model (LoA 6.04m and beam 2.46m) offers an enormous amount of internal space. Approved capacity for 12 people. She has under floor ducts for cables and controls to leave the deck area completely clear.
